Last Update 21 August 2006

During Chelmno's second phase the Jews from Lodz were transported usually by train to Kolo (sometimes by lorries directly to Chelmno). From Kolo by the narrow gauge railroad to Chelmno village.
There they spent the night in the church. The next day they had to wait on the place in front of the church from were they were carried by lorries to the Waldlager (Forest Camp) in groups of mainly 150.
